专利说明:

The field of the invention is that of cold rolling for which it is necessary to spray onto the strip to be laminated large volumes of a liquid, consisting of an oil or an emulsion in water, to ensure lubrication and belt and cylinder cooling. At the exit of the rolling mill, the liquid film covering the strip is removed, in particular to allow correct winding of the strip on the winder.
To this end, the state of the art knows wiping devices which comprise two pressure cylinders, substantially parallel, arranged on either side of the strip to be laminated, perpendicular to the direction of travel of the latter and which are applied directly to the strip with a determined force in order to remove the oil. Typically small pressure cylinders are used, which spin more efficiently, but are more sensitive to deflection than larger diameter cylinders.
The state of the art knows for example from document EP 0 568 418 A1 and from document EP 1 712 305 A1 of such wiping devices. Each pressure cylinder is applied to the strip by means of a plurality of rollers distributed over the length of the cylinder, and along two axes of rotation substantially parallel to the axis of the pressure cylinder.
In these two documents, the rollers are supported by a plurality of bearing blocks, distributed over the length of the cylinder, pneumatic cylinders, respectively associated with the bearing blocks, making it possible to independently control the pressures exerted on the different subset of rollers carried by the bearing blocks. Such wiping devices according to this state of the art also include means for controlling the supply of fluid to the pneumatic cylinders, as a function of the width of the strip and of its position between the cylinders: such a device design wringing advantageously makes it possible to exert the efforts of applying the pressure cylinders, solely or mainly on the part of the cylinders in contact with the strip: the admission of compressed air is controlled only by pneumatic cylinders capable of exerting their force on the width of the strip to be wrung, while the cylinders of the bearing blocks in line with the parts of the cylinders projecting laterally from the strip are not supplied (or supplied under reduced pressure): this avoids the defects as mentioned in the document EP 0 568 418 A1, namely a rolling of the edges of the metal strip and poor wringing of the middle part of the metal strip.
In such a wringing device, the upper assembly comprising the upper pressure cylinder, the support rollers, their bearing blocks, and the corresponding pneumatic cylinders is carried by an upper crosspiece, positioned above the travel plane of the strip to be wrung, while the lower assembly comprising the lower pressure cylinder, the support rollers, their bearing block and the corresponding pneumatic cylinders is carried by a lower cross member, positioned below the travel plane of said strip to wring out.
As disclosed in document EP 0 568 418 A1, the upper cross member can be connected to the lower cross member by means of hydraulic cylinders which, when retracted, keep the working rollers in the working position, in a first position of the sleepers (illustrated on the left half of Figure 2 of this reference) where the pressure cylinders are brought together: the positions of the sleepers are fixed by stops adjusted so that the upper cylinder and the lower cylinder do not exert appreciable pressure on the strip when the crosspieces are in this first position and the pneumatic cylinders associated with these cylinders are not pressurized. The deployment of the hydraulic cylinders also makes it possible to separate the crosspieces, in a second relative position (illustrated on the right half of FIG. 2) from the lower and upper crosspieces which authorizes the operations of changing the spin rollers and the rollers. support, as described below.
For each cross member (respectively upper or lower), the pressure cylinder (respectively upper or lower) and the bearing blocks (including the corresponding support rollers) are supported by the same beam. Legs, which are substantially parallel, are rigidly fixed to the two ends of this beam and maintain the cylinder at its two ends, by means of bearings, respectively provided between the ends of the cylinder and the corresponding legs. The bearing blocks are distributed over the length of the beam, each bearing block being linked to the beam by means of a rod passing through a bore of the beam. In other words, the assembly comprising the support cylinder, the bearing blocks, their support rollers and the beam forms a self-supporting assembly, usually called "cassette" received as an insert in a longitudinal cavity of the cross-section of U-shaped section.
The cylinder bodies are rigidly secured to the cross member, on the other side of the cross member relative to the housing for the cassette, bores being drilled in the cross members in alignment with the bearing block rods. These bores allow the passage of the rods of the pneumatic cylinders, which when put under pressure come to engage with the rods of the bearing blocks to transmit the thrust force (as illustrated on the left half of FIG. 2).
In the absence of thrust from the pneumatic cylinders (as illustrated on the right half of FIG. 2) springs between the rod and the beam constrain the bearing blocks and their rollers in the direction of the beam, the rod of each pneumatic cylinder being maintained away from the bearing end of the bearing block rod. In this position, and during maintenance, it is possible to remove the cassette, namely the self-supporting assembly (including the support cylinder, the bearing blocks and their support rollers and the beam) after removal of a pin, through an opening at the longitudinal end of the cross member, by sliding of the support beam of the cassette along the cross member.
According to the inventor's findings:
- very often it is necessary to remove the pressure cylinders in order to rectify (or change them), and while the support rollers do not require any regular maintenance,
- the design of the removable cassette, as disclosed by the prior art EP 0 568 418 Al or EPI 712 305 Al only allows the cylinder and their support rollers to be extracted simultaneously, and could be improved, in particular due to the weight high of the cassette.
The object of the present invention is to provide a dewatering device which overcomes the aforementioned drawbacks, facilitated maintenance compared to the aforementioned state of the art.
Another object of the present invention is to provide a dewatering device of modular design, which may be suitable for different dewatering conditions.
Other purposes and advantages will become apparent from the description which follows which is given for information only and which is not intended to limit it.
The invention also relates to a treatment device intended for spinning a laminated strip comprising:
- two crosspieces, lower and upper, extending transversely to the metal strip, on either side of the strip, the upper crosspiece carrying an upper pressure cylinder and support rollers of said upper pressure cylinder, the crosspiece lower carrying a lower pressure cylinder and support rollers of said lower pressure cylinder,
actuation means and guide means making it possible to pass the crosspieces from a separated position, called the rest position, to a close position, called the working position, for which the two pressure cylinders, lower and upper, arranged on either side of the strip, transverse to the direction of travel, are each intended to be applied under pressure to the strip by means of said support rollers distributed along the length of the pressure cylinder, and along at least two axes of rotation parallel to the longitudinal axis of said pressure cylinder.
According to the invention, the device comprises for each crosspiece, lower and upper,
a first drawer supporting all of said support rollers associated with the lower or upper pressure cylinder, the first drawer being a removable element of the cross member, by sliding of said drawer along the longitudinal axis of the cross member,
- A second drawer supporting the pressure cylinder, lower or upper, the second drawer being a removable element of the cross member, by sliding of said drawer along the longitudinal axis of the cross member, and so as to allow the extraction of said cylinder from pressure by sliding of said second drawer, while the first drawer and the corresponding support rollers are kept in said crosspiece.
According to one embodiment, each crosspiece has a U-shaped section, including an intermediate wall and two side walls adjoining the intermediate wall, respectively forming the wings of the U, the interspace defined between the intermediate wall and the two walls. lateral forming a cavity for the reception of the first drawer and the second drawer, superimposed in said cavity, said pressure cylinder being intended to project partially from the opening defined between the two free edges of said side walls, and in which the device includes, for each crosspiece, lower or upper:
- first guide means between the first drawer and the side walls of the cross member,
- Second guide means between the second drawer and the side walls of the crosspiece.
According to one embodiment, the first guide means comprise:
- grooves oriented along the side walls, facing one another, in depth from the internal surface of the side walls,
- Projecting ribs arranged on either side of the two longitudinal sides of a frame of the first drawer intended to be threaded respectively in said grooves.
According to one embodiment, the second drawer comprises said cylinder, as well as chocks mounted to rotate at the ends of said cylinder by means of bearings.
The second guide means can thus include:
- sliding surfaces of said chocks, parallel and opposite, on either side of the axis of rotation of said cylinder, cooperating with corresponding internal surfaces of said side walls, parallel, so as to allow possible sliding of chocks, according a limited stroke along the height of the side walls, in a direction perpendicular to the plane of travel of the metal strip,
- shoulders of said side walls, near the free edges oriented along the side walls, cooperating with corresponding shoulders of said chocks, on either side of the axis of rotation of said cylinder, said shoulders of the cross member and chocks cooperating mutually in abutment at the end of travel of the chocks, in order to guarantee that the second drawer is held in said sleeper cavity.
According to an advantageous embodiment, the device can comprise for each crosspiece, lower or upper:
- the support rollers supported by a plurality of bearing blocks, distributed along the length of said pressure cylinder,
- independent actuators such as pneumatic cylinders carried by the cross member distributed on the cross member and cooperate with said bearing blocks, so as to allow the adjustment of the application forces of the pressure cylinders only or mainly over the length section of the cylinders in contact with the metal strip.
According to one embodiment, the frame of the first drawer comprises a frame formed by two longitudinal beams and two transverse beams, which when inserted in the cross member is of fixed position relative to the cross member, said bearing blocks being received at least partially in the internal volume of the frame, each bearing block being mounted free in a limited stroke relative to the chassis, in the direction of the clamping plane, perpendicular to the plane of the chassis frame.
According to one embodiment, said actuators comprise fixing ends, in particular of T-section, intended to be threaded in complementary grooves of the bearing blocks, oriented along the axis of the crossbar, the fixing ends and the fixing grooves being configured so as to allow the coupling of the actuators with their respective bearing blocks during the movement of insertion of said first drawer into the cross member.
According to one embodiment, the device comprises a third drawer supporting at least one squeegee intended for scraping the strip, capable of replacing for each crosspiece the second drawer, cooperating with the support rollers so that each of the squeegees can be applied in pressure on the strip by means of said support rollers.
According to one embodiment, the third drawer comprises a beam having sliding surfaces, parallel and opposite, cooperating with said corresponding internal surfaces of said side walls, parallel, so as to allow possible sliding of the third drawer in a limited stroke along the height of the side walls in a direction perpendicular to the plane of travel of the metal strip.
According to one embodiment, the device comprises a fourth drawer comprising a textile-coated roller and chocks rotatably mounted at the ends of the roller, intended to replace, for each cross member, simultaneously said first drawer and said second drawer.
According to an advantageous embodiment, the upper cross member and the lower cross member have stops at their longitudinal ends, in the form of projections, directed towards one another, distributed laterally on either side of the strip to be wrung, which in said working position of the pressure cylinders, or even working of the squeegees, engage one against the other, by defining a slot of thickness determined for the passage of the strip to be wrung between the upper crossmember and the crossmember lower.
The wings of the lateral walls of the sleepers, upstream in the direction of travel of the strip to be wrung, then advantageously constitute the first physical obstacles for the oil, prior to the action of the pressure cylinders (or squeegees), when spinning.
The invention will be better understood on reading the following description accompanied by the appended figures among which:
FIG. 1 is a front view of a wringing device, in the rest position of said device for which the upper and lower crossmembers are separated,

Figure 8 is a sectional view of the wiping device along a plane perpendicular to the axes of the pressure cylinders, in said working position of said device which illustrates the slot created by the upper and lower cross members then mutually supported by their stops.
Also, the invention relates to a treatment device 1 intended for spinning a laminated strip B comprising:
two crosspieces 2,3, respectively lower and upper, extending transversely to the metal strip, on either side of the strip, the upper crosspiece 2 carrying an upper pressure cylinder 4 and support rollers 5 of said cylinder of higher pressure, the lower cross member 3 carrying a lower pressure cylinder 6 and support rollers 7 of said lower pressure cylinder,
- actuating means Vh and guide means G1 making it possible to pass the crosspieces 2, 3 from a spaced apart position PI, called the rest position, to a close position P2, called the working position, for which the two pressure cylinders 4.6, lower and upper, arranged on either side of the strip, transverse to the direction of travel, are each intended to be applied under pressure to the strip by means of said support rollers 5,7 distributed along the length of the pressure cylinder, and along at least two axes of rotation A4; A7 parallel to the longitudinal axis of said pressure cylinder.
As illustrated by way of illustration in FIG. 1, the actuation means Vh can comprise a hydraulic cylinder. This hydraulic cylinder can for example move the upper cross member 2, while the lower cross member rests at its ends on stops. This hydraulic cylinder therefore connects an upper part of the frame to the cross member. Guides are used to accompany the upper cross member 2 when moved by this hydraulic cylinder, in a direction of movement parallel to the plane of the cylinders. Optionally, the lower cross member can also be moved by another hydraulic cylinder, lower.
ίο
The invention is however concerned with the maintenance of such a wringing device.
According to the invention, the device 1 comprises, for each crosspiece 2; 3, upper and lower:
- a first drawer 50; 70 supporting all of said support rollers 5; 7 associated with the lower or upper pressure cylinder, the first drawer 50; 70 being a removable element of the cross member 2; 3, by sliding of said drawer along the longitudinal axis of the cross member,
- a second drawer 40; 60 supports the pressure cylinder 4; 6, lower or upper, the second drawer being a removable element of the cross member, by sliding of said drawer along the longitudinal axis of the cross member.
Such a design allows the extraction of said pressure cylinder 4; 6 by sliding of said second drawer 40; 60, while the first drawer 50; 70 and the support rollers 5; 7 correspondents are kept (maintained) in said cross 2; 3. These operations are facilitated due to the controlled weight of these drawers 40, 60 which each support only one of the pressure cylinders, and not the assembly comprising this cylinder and its support rollers.
Advantageously, when only the pressure cylinders require a change, it is possible:
to extract the pressure cylinders 4 or 6 while keeping the support rollers 5 or 7 in the crosspieces 2 or 3 of the wiping device, to insert the new pressure cylinders, by insertion of the second drawers 40; 60 in the upper and lower crosspieces, and while the first drawers 50; 70 and their support rollers are still present.
According to one embodiment, each cross member 2; 3 may have a U-shaped section, including an intermediate wall 20; 30 and two side walls 21,22; 31; 32 adjoining the intermediate wall, respectively forming the wings of the U. The interspace defined between the intermediate wall 20; 30 and the two side walls 21,22; 31.32 forms a cavity for receiving the first drawer 50; 70 and the second drawer 40; 60 superimposed in this cavity.
The first drawer 50, 70 and the second drawer 40.60 are superimposed in the cavity, the first drawer positioned at the bottom of the cavity, the second drawer, positioned near the opening defined between the two free edges of said side walls and of so that said pressure cylinder protrudes partially from this opening during spinning.
The device can thus include, for each cross member 2; 3, lower or upper:
- first guide means between the first drawer 50; 70 and the side walls 21.22; 31.32 of the cross,
- second guide means between the second drawer 40; 60 and the side walls 21.22; 31.32 of the crosspiece.
According to an advantageous embodiment, for each cross 2; 3, lower upper:
- the support rollers 5, 7 are supported by a plurality of bearing blocks 10, distributed along the length of said pressure cylinder,
- Independent actuators 11 such as pneumatic cylinders are carried by the cross member 2; 3, distributed on the cross member and cooperate with said bearing blocks.
Advantageously, such a design allows the adjustment of the application forces of the pressure cylinders 4; 6 only or mainly over the length section of the cylinders in contact with the metal strip B. The admission of compressed air is controlled only to the pneumatic cylinders capable of exerting their force over the width of the strip to be wrung, while the cylinders of the bearing blocks in line with the parts of the cylinders projecting laterally from the strip are not supplied (or supplied under reduced pressure): this avoids the defects as mentioned in document EP 0 568 418 A1, namely a rolling of the edges of the metal strip and poor spinning of the middle part of the metal strip.
For each cross member, lower or upper, the cylinders body can be rigidly secured to the cross member, fixed to the intermediate wing 20 or 30, external to the cross member the piston rods passing through bores of the intermediate wing 20 or 30, and so as to engage with the bearing blocks of the first drawers received in the cavity of the crossmember.
According to one embodiment, said actuators 11 (in particular the piston rods) may comprise fixing ends 12, in particular of T-section, intended to be threaded in complementary grooves of the bearing blocks 10, oriented along the axis of the cross member 2; 3 the fixing ends 12 and the fixing grooves being configured so as to allow the coupling of the actuators with their respective bearing blocks 10 during the insertion movement of said first drawer 50; 70 in the cross 2; 3. Conversely, such a design allows the decoupling of the actuators with their bearing block 10 during the extraction movement of said first drawer 50; 70 out of the sleeper.
According to an advantageous embodiment, the coupling or decoupling will only be possible in the retracted position of the actuators 11, the coupling end then aligned (along the axis of the cylinder) with a notch 13 of the chassis allowing it to exit. On the contrary and when the actuator 11 is in the non-retracted position, the chassis of the first drawer 50; 70 constitutes a physical stop blocking the exit of the first drawer along the sliding axis.
According to one embodiment, the chassis of the first drawer 50, 70 comprises a self-supporting frame formed by two longitudinal beams L and two transverse beams T, integral at their ends. When inserted into the corresponding cross member 2 or 3, this chassis is in a fixed position relative to the cross member 2. The bearing blocks 10 are then received at least partially in the internal volume of the frame, each bearing block 10 being mounted free according to a limited stroke with respect to the chassis, in the direction of the clamping plane, perpendicular to the plane of the chassis frame. The chassis and the bearing blocks 10 (and their rollers 5 or 7) of the first drawer 50 or 70 constitute a self-supporting assembly which can be extracted or inserted integrally into the crosspiece. The aforementioned notch 13 can be made on one of the transverse beams.
The first guide means between the first drawer and the cross-member can thus comprise:
- R grooves oriented along the side walls 21,22; 31,32, facing each other, in depth from the internal surface of the side walls,
- Projecting ribs N arranged on either side of the two longitudinal sides of a frame of the first drawer 50.70, intended to be threaded respectively in said grooves.
According to the nonlimiting example of FIG. 5, it is noted that the ribs N are parallel to the longitudinal beams of the chassis of the first drawer 50, 70, projecting on either side of the chassis. These ribs N are threaded close to the interlocking clearance in the two corresponding practical grooves R in depth of the internal surfaces of the side walls.
Once the ribs are inserted into the grooves, the cooperation blocks the position of the drawer at the bottom of the cavity, that is to say near the intermediate wing 20 or 30 of the cross member, and so as to leave the rest of the cavity: this ensures the presence of a clearance in the cavity allowing the insertion of the second drawer carrying the pressure cylinders 4, 6, or even the insertion of a third drawer carrying squeegees, and which will be described later.
According to one embodiment, the second drawer 40; 60 comprises said cylinder 4; 6, as well as chocks 41, 42; 61,62 rotatably mounted at the ends of said cylinder 4; 6 by means of a bearing. The two chocks 41, 42; 61, 62 and the pressure cylinder 4; 6 constitute a self-supporting assembly which can be removed, or inserted in one piece during the change operations.
According to one embodiment, the second guide means comprise:
- sliding surfaces of said chocks 41, 42; 61.62, parallel and opposite, on either side of the axis of rotation of said cylinder 4; 6, cooperating with corresponding internal surfaces of said side walls, parallel, so as to allow possible sliding of chocks 41, 42; 61.62, following a limited stroke along the height of the side walls 21.22; 31.32, in a direction perpendicular to the plane of travel of the metal strip,
- shoulders E of said side walls, near the free edges oriented along the side walls 21,22; 31,32, cooperating with corresponding shoulders of said chocks 41, 42; 61,62, on either side of the axis of rotation of said cylinder, said shoulders of the cross member 2; 3 and chocks 21,22; 31,32 cooperating mutually in abutment at the end of travel of the chocks in order to guarantee maintaining the second drawer 40; 60 in said sleeper cavity.
These guide means thus allow in operation a relative movement between the pressure cylinder 4; 6 and the crosspiece 2; 3, in a direction parallel to the clamping plane, by sliding the chocks along the side walls, especially when the cylinder pressure cooperates with the bearing with the support rollers of the bearing blocks 10.
The shoulders E of the cross and those corresponding chocks 21,22; 31.32 have the function of guaranteeing the maintenance of the second drawer 40, 60 in the cross-member, in particular for the second drawer 40; 60 present in the upper cross member 2, which in the rest position will be forced down under the action of gravity.
According to an advantageous embodiment, the device can comprise a third drawer 80; 90 supporting at least one squeegee 8; 9 intended for scraping the strip, suitable for replacing for each crosspiece 2; 3 the second drawer 40; 60.
Advantageously, this third drawer cooperating with the support rollers 5,7 so that each of the squeegees 8,9 can be applied under pressure to the strip B by means of said support rollers: in this case the device d spin is provided with actuators 11; this allows adjustment of the application forces of the squeegees 8; 9 only or mainly over the length section of the squeegees in contact with the metal strip B. The admission of compressed air is controlled only to the pneumatic cylinders capable of exerting their force over the width of the strip to be wrung, while the cylinders of the bearing blocks in line with the parts of the squeegees projecting laterally from the strip are not supplied (or supplied under reduced pressure).
The third drawer can comprise a beam comprising one or more scrapers 8; 9 on one of these faces. The squeegees 8, 9 are directed along the length of the beam. When the beam carries several squeegees these are located at the same level so as to scrape the metal strip simultaneously. The scraper (s) are statically fixed on the beam.
Laterally, this beam may have sliding surfaces 81, 82; 91, 92, parallel and opposite, cooperating with said corresponding internal surfaces of said side walls 21, 22; 31, 32, parallel, so as to allow possible sliding of the third drawer 80; 90 along a limited stroke along the height of the side walls in a direction perpendicular to the running plane of the metal strip.
These beams can also include shoulders 83; 93 cooperating with the shoulders E of said side walls, near the free edges oriented along the side walls 21,22; 31.32. Said shoulders E of the cross member 2; 3 and those 83; 93 of the third drawers cooperate mutually in abutment at the end of the race in order to guarantee the maintenance of the third drawer 80; 90 in said sleeper cavity 2; 3.
On its back wall (opposite the wall of the beam supporting the squeegee (s)), the beam may have a projecting section 84, 94 whose curved profile or (in dihedral) serves as support, simultaneously for the support rollers carried along the two parallel axes.
According to one embodiment, the device can include a fourth drawer 100; 110 comprising a textile-coated roller and chocks 101.102; 111,112 rotatably mounted at the ends of the roll, intended to replace, for each cross member; 3, simultaneously said first drawer and said second drawer. For each drawer 100; 110 the textile roller and its chocks form a self-supporting assembly which can be extracted or inserted in one piece in the crosspiece.
These chocks 101.102; 111,112 can present:
- First shoulders 113 cooperating with the shoulders E of said side walls, near the free edges oriented along the side walls 21, 22; 31.32 and so as to block the exit of the chocks, and
- second shoulders 114 intended to cooperate with intermediate shoulders El to transmit the application force transmitted by the actuation means Vh.
Thus, and even when the device has actuators 11, in particular pneumatic, making it possible to adjust the application distribution of the rollers over the width of the strip, these are not used for textile rollers, of larger diameter. , very often subjected to a clamping force of intensity lower than that of the pressure cylinders.
Advantageously, such a modular design of the device, namely the possibility of using, as a wringing means, not only pressure rollers, but also scrapers and / or textile rollers, makes it possible to adapt the wringing means depending on the spin conditions. As illustrated by way of illustration in the graph in FIG. 2, it is possible to change the wringing means as a function of the quantity of fluid present on the strip to be wrung, and quickly, which allows the invention.
According to an advantageous embodiment, the upper cross member 2 and the lower cross member 3 may have stops 23, 33 at their longitudinal ends, in the form of projections, directed towards one another, distributed laterally on either side. tape to wring out.
As illustrated in the figures, these stops 23, 33, typically four in number, can be provided, at each wing of the U. In said working position P2 of the pressure cylinders 4, 6, (or even working of the squeegees 8, 9) these stops 23, 33 mutually engage one against the other, by defining a slot of determined thickness for the passage of the strip to be wrung between the upper cross member 2 and the lower cross member 3.
Such a slot of thickness "F" is illustrated in FIG. 8 when the upper cross member 2 is in contact with the lower cross member 3 via T through the stops 23 and 33 under the action of the actuation means Vh. This thin slot can be defined less than a few centimeters, for example less than or equal to 5 cm, in particular less than or equal to 3 cm. In such a case, the lateral wings of the crosspieces (lower and upper) located upstream (in the direction of travel of the strip) relative to the pressure cylinders 4 and 6 constitute the first physical organs obstructing the oil during spinning, and prior to the action of the pressure cylinders. In such a case, the application forces of the pressure cylinders 4 and 6 are regulated on the strip to be wrung by the implementation of regulation on the pneumatic type actuators 11.
The lower and upper crosspieces can also be brought into contact by these stops 23 and 33 when equipped with third drawers carrying the squeegees 8 and 9. In such a case, and like the pressure cylinders, the forces of application of the squeegees 8 and 9 on the strip to be wrung by the implementation of a regulation on the actuators 11 of the pneumatic type.
On the other hand, when equipped with the fourth drawers carrying the textile rollers, the upper and lower crosspieces are not brought into abutment against one another, but on the contrary in a slightly separated working position: the application forces are then regulated. textile rollers on the strip to be wrung by the implementation of a regulation on the typically hydraulic actuating means. In other words and in this case the actuators 11 of the pneumatic type are not used.
